Hawk the Vote
At the University of Iowa, we celebrate civic engagement and democracy! We encourage our students to be active citizens by voting. Our goal is to increase the number of students who vote, educate the community about how to vote, and foster a campus culture of civic engagement.
Civic Action Plan
In 2016, the University of Iowa signed an Action Statement through Campus Compact reaffirming our commitment to community engagement through the development of a Civic Action Plan. The development of the Civic Action Plan involves identifying and recruiting key stakeholders from campus and the community to provide input on how the University can make leadership, service, and civic engagement priorities through analyzing existing programs and recommending new ones that center on maximizing positive social change. As we start to write the plan, we want to hear from you!
